The Dean of Students Office invites first-generation and low-income students to gather for a monthly community space and resource share. This month, students are invited to attend a financial literacy workshop featuring guest speaker, Jale Banay. Jale Banay is a highly motivated Client Director with more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. As an expert in her field, she has extensive knowledge regarding topics such as stocks, bonds, and 401K. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of purchasing a home, saving for retirement, and student loans. Students can expect to learn the fundamentals of financial literacy and steps they can take now to plan for their future.
